Job Description

Job Summary: The HR Executive/Manager will be responsible for handling all HR operations including talent acquisition, employee engagement, policy formulation, payroll management, compliance, and organizational development. The ideal candidate should understand the nuances of working in a fintech/startup environment and help build a high-performance culture aligned with business goals. Key Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding • Develop job descriptions, post job ads, and manage recruitment channels. • Conduct screening, interviews, and coordinate with department heads for hiring. • Ensure smooth onboarding and orientation for new employees. 2. Employee Engagement & Retention • Foster a positive and productive work environment. • Plan team-building activities, training sessions, and employee wellness programs. • Handle employee grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary procedures professionally. 3. HR Operations & Policy Management • Draft and implement HR policies, procedures, and code of conduct. • Maintain employee records, contracts, and HR documents securely and compliantly. • Oversee attendance, leave management, and performance reviews. 4. Payroll, Compliance & Statutory Obligations • Manage salary processing in coordination with finance/accounts team. • Ensure timely PF, ESI, Gratuity, and other statutory filings. • Stay updated with labor laws, fintech industry compliance, and HR legal standards. 5. Training & Development • Identify skill gaps and organize professional development programs. • Coordinate with technical and operations teams for internal training needs. 6. HR Strategy & Culture Building • Contribute to shaping company culture and people strategy. • Support leadership in organization structuring and manpower planning. • Align HR processes with overall business goals, especially for tech-driven scale-ups. Key Skills Required: • Strong knowledge of HR processes and employment laws. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Experience in managing HR software/HRMS tools. • Ability to work in fast-paced, digital/fintech startup environments. • Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities. Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor's/Master’s in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. • Minimum 6 months of HR experience, preferably in fintech, IT, or SaaS companies.
