📌 Job Overview

People & Governance Lead

🛠️ Key ResponsibilitiesTalent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment across engineering, delivery, and support teams
  • Collaborate with department heads to forecast and fulfill hiring needs
  • Implement digital sourcing, campus programs, and proactive pipeline building
HR Operations & Administration
  • Oversee onboarding, performance reviews, policy rollout, and exit processes
  • Maintain HR records, HRIS updates, and employee database accuracy
  • Coordinate vendor relations, facilities, and internal HR administration
Payroll, Compensation & Benefits
  • Process monthly payroll and ensure statutory compliance (PF, ESI, TDS)
  • Support salary revisions and retention strategies with market benchmarking
  • Liaise with finance for accurate payroll reporting and employee benefits
Budgeting & HR-Finance Coordination
  • Assist in HR budget planning and headcount forecasting
  • Monitor HR spend and provide dashboards for leadership review
  • Coordinate with accounts to align financial documentation and HR costs
Company Governance & Audit Liaison
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulatory policies, and employment standards
  • Collaborate with statutory auditors and internal teams for audit readiness
  • Manage ROC filings, governance documentation, and legal compliance requirements
  • Act as a liaison for audit queries and maintain clear audit trails
Employee Engagement & Culture
  • Design and implement engagement initiatives across tech and functional teams
  • Foster an inclusive, growth-focused workplace culture
  • Lead feedback programs and communication initiatives company-wide
🎓 Qualifications
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Commerce, or related field
  • Experience:

    5+ years in HR roles, preferably in IT or technology environments
  • Skills:

  • Expertise in HR–Finance interfacing, audits, and statutory compliance
  • Strong command of HRMS tools, payroll platforms (Zoho People, GreytHR), and Excel
  • Proactive communication, organizational skills, and stakeholder management
  • Familiarity with Agile/DevOps environments and distributed teams is a plus
