About this opportunity
This position is ideal for mid to senior level HR professionals to join Align India HR team as an HRBP, driving key talent agenda and supporting site level initiatives. Partnering with cross-functional teams, you’ll lead workforce planning, talent development and employee engagement programs to strengthen organizational capability. You will provide key HR insights, leverage data-driven analytics to influence talent decisions in line with business objectives. This role is critical in shaping a high-performance culture, fostering employee experience, and enabling site growth and success.
Role expectations
In this role, you will…
- Act as a strategic HR partner by understanding org priorities and recommending interventions to improve overall org effectiveness and employee engagement.
- Partner with key stakeholders to design and implement talent management strategies, including recognition programs, succession planning, and capability-building plans.
- Enhance employee experience through interventions such as Assessment/Development Centers, Individual Development Plans (IDPs), and Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs).
- Conduct exit interviews, analyse trends, and escalate critical issues to leadership for resolution.
- Provide guidance to managers on employee relations, HR policies, and best practices, ensuring compliance with employment laws and company guidelines.
- Identify HR risks, propose mitigation strategies, and foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Champion talent review processes, leadership development planning, and career mapping for high-potential employees.
- Collaborate with functional managers to create engagement plans for HiPOs and participate in focus groups to address talent retention challenges.
- Partner with HR specialists in areas such as talent acquisition, compensation, and organizational development to deliver integrated HR solutions.
- Utilize HR analytics tools (e.g., Power BI) to create dashboards, analyse workforce data, and provide actionable insights to business leaders.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives across India, with a focus on technology and operations teams.
- Foster a strong org culture by promoting company values, inclusion, and collaboration through targeted initiatives.
What We're Looking For
In this role, you’ll need …
- Experience: 8+ years of progressive HR experience with a strong background in Talent Management, Organizational Development, and leadership development initiatives.
- Global Exposure: Flexibility to work across time zones with managers based in the US, EMEA, and Israel.
- Independence: Ability to operate autonomously with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities.
- Strategic Orientation: Demonstrated ability to understand business strategy and apply HR processes and tools to support organizational objectives.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities; adept at data analysis and interpretation.
- Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence and build strong relationships.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Self-starter, proactive, result-oriented, and skilled at fostering team cohesion and continuous improvement.
