Job Description


Strategic Channel Management:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive channel strategies to maximize market penetration, revenue generation, and brand visibility.
  • Foster strong relationships with key channel partners, including distributors, resellers, and retailers, to drive mutual growth and success.


Sales Leadership:

  • Lead, motivate, and mentor a high-performing channel sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Provide ongoing training, coaching, and support to enable team members to effectively engage with partners and drive sales results.


Revenue Optimization:

  • Analyse sales data, market trends, and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities for revenue optimization and market expansion.
  • Implement pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and incentive programs to drive sales growth and maximize profitability.


Financial Management:

  • Oversee the financial aspects of channel sales operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and revenue forecasting.
  • Monitor and manage outstanding payments, credit terms, and financial performance to ensure healthy cash flow and profitability.


Strategic Partnerships and Alliances:

  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships and alliances to enhance product offerings, market reach, and competitive advantage.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and finance, to align strategies and execute joint initiatives.


Personal & Professional Skill Set:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 20 years of experience in channel sales management, with a proven track record of success in the electronics industry.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire, empower, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of channel dynamics, market trends, and competitive landscapes.
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities, with a data-driven approach to problem-solving and opportunity identification.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships at all levels.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience in Automatic Identification and Data Capture (AIDC) preferred.
