Job Title: Domestic Sales Head – Jewellery Industry

Department: Sales & Marketing
Reports To: Managing Director / CEO
Experience Required: 7+ years in jewellery sales (minimum 3 years in a leadership role)
Education: MBA in Sales/Marketing or a relevant field is preferred

Job Summary

This role requires an experienced and highly driven Domestic Sales Head to lead and expand sales operations across India. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of the jewellery market, excellent leadership abilities, and a proven record of achieving sales targets in competitive environments.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute domestic sales strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Set short-term and long-term sales targets across regions and teams.
  • Drive revenue growth across retail, wholesale, and B2B channels nationwide.

Team Management

  • Lead, guide, and motivate regional managers, area sales managers, and sales executives.
  • Monitor individual and team performance to drive continuous improvement.
  • Build a performance-focused culture supported by KPIs and incentive structures.

Channel Development

  • Expand distribution networks by onboarding new retail outlets, dealers, and distributors.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key channel partners and high-value clients.
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities and emerging markets.

Customer Insights & Product Feedback

  • Work with marketing and product teams to align collections with market trends.
  • Collect and analyse customer insights to support product development and assortment planning.

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Prepare annual sales budgets, forecasts, and business plans.
  • Monitor sales costs and optimize spending to improve profitability.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, market insights, and competitive activity.
  • Use CRM tools and data analytics to improve customer engagement and sales efficiency.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in jewellery or luxury product sales in India.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Deep understanding of regional markets, customer behavior, and channel operations.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Experience managing multi-channel distribution (retail, wholesale, franchise; online preferred).
  • Willingness to travel extensively across India.

Preferred Skills

  • Working knowledge of ERP and CRM systems.
  • Ability to operate under pressure and manage high-value transactions.
  • Existing network within the jewellery or luxury goods industry.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
