Job Description: Head of Operations – MICE

Lead and oversee all operational aspects of the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) division, ensuring the flawless planning and delivery of high-quality events and corporate programs in Delhi.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end operations of MICE events, including logistics, vendor coordination, budgeting, and team management.
• Lead the operations team, providing guidance, motivation, and performance management.
• Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and client relations to align operational execution with business goals.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, venues, and service providers to secure competitive rates and quality services.
• Conduct site inspections, assess venues, and ensure all event requirements are met.
• Monitor and evaluate operational efficiency, implement process improvements, and drive cost optimization.
• Oversee compliance with safety, legal, and quality standards during event execution.
• Handle risk management and contingency planning for seamless event delivery.
• Prepare operational reports and MIS for senior management and clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and suppliers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 7-10 years in event operations or related roles, with 3+ years in MICE operations leadership.
• Strong knowledge of the MICE industry, event management best practices, and vendor management.
• Proven leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office, event management software, and reporting tools.
