HEAD OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

JOB PURPOSE

Head of Information Technology interacts with the executive management to define, acquire, monitor and validate AISATS information systems based on industry best practices, for return on investment and integrity of all data and information.

Head of Information Technology also manages a team of talents to maintain positive working relationship for the organization.

He / She manages the IT resources of AISATS and deploys IT support to enable the staff and management to meet the business objectives and goals.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Align and/or optimize information system and technology initiatives with business priorities.
• Responsible for the selection, acquisition, development, installation, maintenance and support of technology resources.
• Consolidate technology resource requisition, information systems and/or technology deployment budgets from AISATS Corporate and business units.
• Ensure all information systems and technology initiatives have clear business goals and key performance indicators.
• Monitor and report on the progress of information systems and technology initiatives to CEO.
• Perform, ongoing basis, assessment of AISATS information systems capabilities and performances
• Oversee the integration and/or interfaces, if necessary, of AISATS information system with external parties.
• Provide strategic and tactical planning, development, evaluation and coordination of the information system and its technology as to facilitate information flow between staff, management, vendors and other technology resources within AISATS.
• Provide a leadership role in day-to-day operations of AISATS information technology Services department.
• Ensure the protection of IT assets and the integrity, security, confidentiality and privacy of information within AISATS information systems.
• Develop and maintain an information system recovery plan to ensure timely and effective restoration of data and IT services in the event of a disaster.
• Oversee, together with representatives from user departments and executive managements, the negotiation of all information systems and technology contracts.
• Communicate AISATS IT plans throughout the organization to build support and understanding around the planned changes due to information system and/or technology improvement.
• Provide advice concerning information system and/or technology resources as well as stay updated on IT industry trends.
• Provide strategic plan to align and optimize IT resources with business objectives and goals.

• Develop and implement, jointly with AISATS Learning & Development, end-users training programs which enable the productive use of technology resources owned or deployed by AISATS.
• Provide a leadership role in day-to-day operations of AISATS Information Technology Services as a functional unit.
• Develop an employee focused, customer oriented if applicable, information system that supports both AISATS administration and operations to enable AISATS to achieve efficiency, deliver better customer services and sustain growth.
• Develop and manage service level agreements for hardware and software application availability, response time and network performance with technology vendors.
• Ensure the protection of IT assets and the integrity, security, confidentiality and privacy of information within AISATS information system.
• Develop and maintain an information system recovery plan to ensure timely and effective restoration of data and IT services in the event of a disaster.
• Communicate AISATS IT plans throughout the organization to build support and understanding around the planned changes due to information system and/or technology improvement.
• Provide advice concerning information system and/or technology resources as well as stay updated on IT industry trends.
• Participate in AISATS CSR activities or events as committee member or participant.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Reporting Officer.
• Responsible and accountable for overall quality, safety and security of IT operations.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor degree or higher education.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

• Have, at least 10 years, experience in Information Technology operations
• Have the appropriate skill set or formal qualification on understanding ISO9001 standards
