Head of Information Technology

As the Head of Information Technology at our client's Chemical Manufacturing company in Bengaluru, you will be responsible for leading enterprise-wide IT initiatives across infrastructure, applications, and digital platforms. With 16-20 years of experience, you will demonstrate proficiency in managing end-to-end SAP operations within a manufacturing environment and driving digital transformation aligned with Industry 4.0 principles. Your key areas of expertise will include IoT, AI, data analytics, cybersecurity, and automation. You should possess deep technical knowledge of critical IT infrastructure like data centers, disaster recovery systems, and cloud migration strategies. Commercial acumen in vendor management, especially in negotiating and managing AMC contracts, will be crucial. A forward-thinking mindset and a solid understanding of emerging technologies are essential for driving innovation and supporting the organization's strategic growth. Your responsibilities will involve developing and executing the organization's IT strategy, collaborating with executive leadership, overseeing technology planning and implementation, ensuring information security and risk management, fostering collaboration and communication, driving innovation and continuous improvement, evaluating and implementing automation and robotics solutions, and utilizing data analytics for informed decision-making. To excel in this role, you should have progressive experience in IT leadership roles, preferably within the manufacturing or industrial sector. A Bachelor's degree in computer science/IT (BE/BTech); an MBA, and certifications in Cloud, Cybersecurity, or SAP will be advantageous. Proven expertise in managing end-to-end SAP operations, understanding of Industry 4.0 technologies, hands-on experience with cloud migration and digitization initiatives, strong leadership skills, and effective stakeholder management and communication are essential attributes for this position.,
