Head of Information Technology

As an experienced and strategic IT Head at Shahi Exports, India's largest apparel manufacturer, your role will involve leading the infrastructure and ERP functions. You will be responsible for defining and executing the IT roadmap aligned with business goals, driving digital transformation initiatives, and mentoring a team of IT professionals. Your key responsibilities will include: - IT Strategy & Leadership - Define and execute the IT roadmap aligned with business goals. - Drive digital transformation initiatives across departments. - Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals across infrastructure and ERP functions. - Infrastructure Management - Ensure availability, reliability, and security of the IT infrastructure (data centers, networks, servers, communication systems). - Oversee IT asset management and lifecycle planning. - Implement best practices in cybersecurity and disaster recovery. - ERP Systems (SAP/Oracle/MS Dynamics or equivalent) - Lead implementation, customization, and maintenance of the ERP system across manufacturing, supply chain, HR, finance, and other functions. - Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors for ERP enhancements and support. - Ensure ERP adoption and provide necessary training to business users. - Manufacturing IT Integration - Drive automation and digital tools specific to garment manufacturing processes (cut-to-pack, inventory, production planning). - Collaborate with factory heads and operational teams to optimize shop floor technology. - Compliance & Data Security - Ensure compliance with internal IT policies and external regulations (ISO, GDPR, etc.). - Implement and monitor cybersecurity protocols and controls. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - 15+ years of progressive experience in IT leadership roles, with at least 5 years in a manufacturing environment. - Hands-on experience with ERP systems and infrastructure management. - Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to manage budgets, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
