Head of Information Technology

Role Overview: You will be responsible for leading and managing the entire IT department, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of all technology systems that support patient care, administration, and research. This includes overseeing IT infrastructure, applications, data management, security, and compliance with healthcare regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Developing and executing the hospital's IT strategy, aligning technology initiatives with organizational goals and ensuring alignment with business needs. - Overseeing the maintenance, security, and performance of the hospital's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and storage. - Managing the implementation, support, and maintenance of clinical and administrative software applications, including Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems. - Ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and security of patient data and other sensitive information, adhering to HIPAA and other relevant regulations. - Leading and managing IT projects, including system upgrades, new technology implementations, and software development initiatives. - Developing and managing the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources and efficient procurement of technology. - Managing and mentoring the IT staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment. - Managing relationships with IT vendors and suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the delivery of quality services. - Ensuring that all IT systems and processes comply with relevant healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and other data privacy laws. - Developing and implementing disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity and data protection in the event of a disruption. - Keeping abreast of emerging technologies and trends in healthcare IT, evaluating their potential benefits, and recommending appropriate solutions. - Working closely with clinical and administrative departments to understand their technology needs and ensure that IT systems effectively support their operations.,
