Job Description

A Head of HR in a Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) is a strategic leader responsible for HR Strategy aligned with business goals, Talent Management including acquisition and retention, designing Performance Management & Rewards systems, overseeing Learning & Development, and ensuring strict adherence to Compliance & Employee Relations for the NBFC sector.
Key responsibilities : Partnering with the executive team, developing HR policies, managing HR systems, and leveraging data for informed decision-making, especially regarding NBFC-specific regulations. Talent Acquisition & Management: Develop and execute strategies to attract, hire, and retain high-quality talent, focusing on specialized roles within financial services. Build succession plans and leadership pipelines. Performance Management & Rewards: Design and implement performance appraisal systems using metrics like OKRs or KPIs. Create and administer competitive compensation and benefits structures. Learning & Development: Establish learning frameworks and programs to upskill employees and identify competency gaps. Compliance & Employee Relations: Ensure all HR policies and practices comply with relevant labor laws and NBFC-specific regulatory standards. Manage grievances and maintain positive employee relations. HR Operations & Technology: Drive HR process automation and system optimization. Implement and manage HR technology, such as HRMS and data analytics tools. HR Analytics: Utilize data to provide insights into HR effectiveness, talent risk, and costs, supporting strategic workforce planning. Employer Branding: Collaborate with teams to build a strong employer brand within the competitive financial services talent market. Experience: 5-10 years in Significant, seasoned experience in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector, particularly in scaling HR functions for high-growth organizations.
