Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on and strategic Head of HR to build and scale systems that power Agrim’s hypergrowth. This is early CHRO track role with focus on scaling talent acquisition engines, establishing enterprisewide people strategies, and partnering with Founder/CEO to drive organizational excellence. You will lead workforce planning, accelerate hiring, shape culture, strengthen leadership, and ensure performance and compliance across telesales, field, product, engineering, business, and leadership teams.


This role is about architecting the organizational muscle for scale, demanding a founder’s mindset to shape People, Process, and Product as we re-define rural commerce in India.


Key Responsibilities

• Build and lead hiring engines to scale the workforce 2x within the next two quarters.

• Build and manage a strong HR team (Talent Acquisition, HR Ops, HRBP) capable of delivering on hiring,

• Performance, compliance, and engagement at scale.

• Establish OKRs, run quarterly reviews, and design incentive structures to maximize output.

• Codify and embed Agrim culture into all people processes.

• Drive employee experience: onboarding, engagement, recognition, engagement and exit.

• Ensure compliance, payroll, and HR ops run smoothly for 800+ workforce (on-roll and off-roll) across geographies.

• Lead strategic HR initiatives: GPTW certification, ESOP design & communication, talent marketing, employer branding.

• Strengthen leadership bench by developing internal pipelines and succession planning.


Requirements

• 7–12 years of HR leadership experience, ideally in high-growth startups or large-scale sales/distribution-driven organizations.

• Business-oriented problem-solving mindset. • Proven expertise in implementing HR Tech platforms (ATS, HRIS, performance tools).

• Track record of scaling organizations from a few hundred to 1000+ employees.

• Strong command of performance systems, incentive design, and org design.

• Strong partner to founders and functional leaders, with ability to balance strategic and operational priorities.

• Deep belief in culture as a growth multiplier, not a side function.
