Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN networks. You will troubleshoot network issues related to switches, routers, firewalls, and access points. Monitoring network performance, security, and availability will also be part of your role. Additionally, you will implement network security measures such as firewall rules, access control, and antivirus. Coordination with ISPs and vendors for internet, MPLS, and leased line issues, as well as maintaining IP addressing, VLANs, and network documentation, will be essential. Key Responsibilities: - Install, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN networks - Troubleshoot network issues related to switches, routers, firewalls, and access points - Monitor network performance, security, and availability - Implement network security measures (firewall rules, access control, antivirus) - Coordinate with ISPs and vendors for internet, MPLS, and leased line issues - Maintain IP addressing, VLANs, and network documentation - Installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop, laptop, printers, scanners, biometric devices, and peripherals - Assembly and troubleshooting of computer hardware components - Perform preventive maintenance and hardware health checks - Manage hardware inventory, AMC, and warranty support - Coordinate with vendors for repair and replacement - Basic administration of Windows / Linux servers - User account management (Active Directory / Local users) - File server, print server, and backup support - Assist in system upgrades and data backups - Provide L1/L2 IT support to employees - Resolve tickets related to hardware, software, and network issues - Install and configure operating systems and standard software - Educate users on basic IT policies and best practices - Ensure antivirus updates and system patching - Support data security, access control, and IT policies - Assist in audits and compliance requirements - Report security incidents and system vulnerabilities Qualifications: - Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or related field - Certifications preferred: CCNA / Network+, Microsoft / Hardware certifications Additional Details: The company provides benefits such as cell phone reimbursement, commuter assistance, food, health insurance, internet reimbursement, leave encashment, life insurance, and provident fund.
