Position Overview:

General Manager – Human Resources

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership

  • Formulate and execute HR strategies aligned with corporate objectives across all verticals.
  • Partner with business heads to design workforce plans for diverse industries — including manufacturing, technology, energy, retail, and logistics.
  • Lead cultural integration and organizational development initiatives across group companies.

2. HR Operations & Governance

  • Oversee end-to-end HR operations: recruitment, talent management, L&D, compensation & benefits, industrial relations, and compliance.
  • Standardize HR processes and policies across multiple business units while respecting local business dynamics.
  • Drive automation and HRMS implementation for unified data-driven decision-making.

3. Talent Management & Leadership Development

  • Create robust leadership pipelines through succession planning and executive development programs.
  • Partner with CXOs to identify high-potential employees and design personalized growth journeys.
  • Lead employer branding and employee engagement initiatives to enhance retention.

4. Industrial Relations & Compliance

  • Oversee labour relations across plants, factories, and logistics hubs nationwide.
  • Ensure adherence to all state and central labour laws, audits, and statutory compliances.
  • Manage negotiations with unions and maintain a harmonious workplace environment.

5. HR Transformation & Change Management

  • Champion digital HR transformation and implement cutting-edge people analytics.
  • Lead cultural transformation to support rapid business expansion and diversification.
  • Foster inclusion, diversity, and sustainability in HR practices.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Proven track record of managing multi-industry HR functions across a large conglomerate or diversified business group.
  • Deep understanding of Indian labour laws, global HR practices, and industrial relations.
  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and people management skills.
  • Hands-on experience with HR digitization, organizational restructuring, and change management.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities.
