GM HR for Corporate office (In Plant Logistics Vertical)

Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals and 3PL operational requirements.

Partner with Operations, Finance, and Business Development to support growth, new site launches, and client onboarding.

Lead and mentor the HR team across regions/sites.

Create manpower planning models to manage high-volume, fluctuating operational needs.

Build vendor networks for blue-collar hiring and manage agency relationships.

Establish training programs for warehouse processes, safety, compliance, and supervisory skills.

Implement skill-development and upskilling programs to improve productivity and reduce attrition.

Oversee the performance appraisal system and KPIs aligned with 3PL SLAs.

Guide managers on performance coaching and corrective action.

Maintain a positive work environment across multiple logistics hubs and warehouses.

Handle disciplinary processes, grievance redressal, and conflict resolution.

Implement engagement initiatives to improve retention for the blue-collar and mid-management workforce

Ensure compliance with labour laws, EHS guidelines, and statutory norms (PF, ESIC, CLRA, Shops & Establishment, etc.).

Audit compliance across on-roll staff and third-party agencies.

Oversee payroll, attendance systems, and incentive structures for warehouse and transport operations.

Benchmark compensation for blue-collar and logistics-specific roles.

Implement HRMS, digitised attendance, and productivity-tracking tools.

Analyse HR metrics (attrition, attendance, hiring, overtime, productivity) and provide insights to leadership.

Key Skills :

Strong understanding of 3PL/warehouse/distribution operations.

Expertise in large-scale blue-collar workforce management.

Solid knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance.

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-client, multi-site environments.
