Compensation: ₹9 LPA – ₹15 LPA (based on skills and experience)
Role Overview
We are building a HealthTech startup and are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer who can independently own end-to-end development of our web and mobile platforms. The ideal candidate is hands-on, has worked in smaller IT companies on multiple projects, and is comfortable taking responsibility for architecture, development, deployment, and maintenance with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Development (Web & Mobile)
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end features for our HealthTech platform (web and mobile) using Django/Python on the backend and React / Next.js / React Native on the frontend.
- Build secure, scalable RESTful APIs and integrations with third-party services (e.g., payment gateways, communication APIs like Agora, etc.).
- Optimize applications for performance, responsiveness, and reliability across devices and network conditions.
- Database, Infrastructure & DevOps
- Design and manage relational databases, primarily PostgreSQL, including schema design, optimization, and query performance.
- Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP), including CI/CD pipelines, basic server administration, and monitoring.
- Ensure proper backup, logging, error tracking, and uptime of production systems.
- Internal Tools & Automation
- Develop and maintain internal tools such as CRMs, admin dashboards, and workflow automation systems to streamline operations.
- Implement process automation for recurring tasks, data pipelines, and reporting dashboards.
- Security, Compliance & Quality
- Implement secure coding practices, access controls, and data protection measures aligned with healthcare data sensitivity.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to align development with relevant compliance expectations (e.g., HIPAA-like standards, data privacy best practices).
- Own code quality through reviews, testing (unit/integration), and documentation.
- AI/ML & Integrations (Good to Have)
- Work with AI/ML engineers or external partners to integrate features such as chatbots, recommendation systems, or NLP-driven tools into the product.
- Consume AI/ML services and expose them via APIs or UI components in a performant and user-friendly way.
- Collaboration & Ownership
- Work closely with the Founder/CTO, clinicians, and business team to translate requirements into technical tasks and deliverables.
- Take complete ownership of modules and projects—estimating effort, planning sprints, and delivering on timelines.
- Mentor junior developers or interns when required and set a high bar for code quality and accountability.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Education:
- B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline (mandatory).
- Professional Experience:
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Full Stack Developer.
- Strong preference for candidates who have worked in small or mid-sized IT companiesand handled multiple projects end-to-end (rather than only small parts of large enterprise systems).
- Proven experience in building and deploying production-grade web applications and APIs.
- Technical Skills (Must Have):
- Backend: Python, Django (or Django REST Framework).
- Frontend: React.js, Next.js, strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS.
- Mobile: React Native (for cross-platform mobile apps).
- Database: PostgreSQL (design, optimization, migrations).
- Cloud & DevOps: Experience with AWS / Azure / GCP, CI/CD pipelines, basic Linux server management.
- Tools/Other: Git, API design, integration with third-party services (e.g., Agora, email/SMS gateways), basic knowledge of Figma for consuming UI designs.
- Good to Have:
- Exposure to HealthTech or other regulated domains.
- Understanding of security, privacy, and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA concepts, not necessarily certified).
- Experience integrating or consuming AI/ML services, chatbots, or recommendation engines.
