Job Summary

The Franchise Manager will be responsible for managing and expanding the organization’s franchise network while ensuring consistency in brand standards, operational efficiency, and profitability. The role requires an experienced franchising professional based out of Chennai who can act as a strong liaison between the corporate office and franchise partners. The Franchise Manager will play a key role in franchise onboarding, performance monitoring, relationship management, and long-term growth of the franchise ecosystem.

Roles and Responsibilities

The Franchise Manager will identify, evaluate, and support potential franchise partners in line with the organization’s expansion strategy. This includes coordinating the onboarding process, supporting franchise setup, and ensuring timely and smooth launch of new franchise locations. The role involves maintaining continuous engagement with franchisees to build strong relationships and address operational, commercial, and compliance-related concerns.

The Franchise Manager will monitor franchise performance through regular reviews, MIS reports, and KPI tracking to ensure business objectives are met. The role includes analyzing operational and financial performance, identifying gaps, and implementing corrective actions to improve efficiency, profitability, and customer experience. Ensuring adherence to brand guidelines, standard operating procedures, and quality standards across all franchise locations is a critical responsibility.

The role also requires close coordination with internal teams such as HR, marketing, finance, operations, and legal to support franchise requirements related to recruitment, training, marketing campaigns, audits, and documentation. The Franchise Manager will facilitate training programs, conduct periodic franchise meetings and audits, manage escalations, and resolve conflicts to ensure franchise satisfaction and retention.

Additionally, the Franchise Manager will contribute to franchise development initiatives, market research, process improvements, and policy formulation to strengthen the franchise model. The role demands frequent travel as required to support franchise operations and expansion.

Skills and Competencies

The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of franchising models, operations, and compliance requirements. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills are essential. The role requires analytical ability, problem-solving skills, leadership qualities, and the ability to work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders.

Reporting Structure

The Franchise Manager will report to the designated senior management or head of operations, as defined by the organization.

Work Location and Travel

The position is based in Chennai and requires regular travel to franchise locations as per business needs.
