As a Business Development Manager Franchise in the fashion retail industry, your role will involve a variety of responsibilities and tasks: - **Franchise Sales & Revenue Targets** - Consistently meet or exceed aggressive annual targets for new franchise agreements and retail store units opened. - Strategically manage the sales pipeline from lead generation to deal closure. - Negotiate favorable franchise terms, including fees, royalty structure, and development schedules. - **Retail Site & Design Compliance** - Evaluate and approve potential retail locations based on brand criteria. - Ensure adherence to the brand's store design and visual merchandising guidelines. - Manage the final handover process to ensure store readiness for grand opening. - **Franchisee Quality & Compliance** - Conduct thorough vetting to recruit high-caliber retail operators. - Maintain compliance with franchise laws and regulations during the recruitment process. - **Cross-Functional Onboarding & Support** - Lead the internal project team to ensure a streamlined store opening process. - **Reporting & Strategy** **Qualifications and Skills:** - Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing. - 5-7 years of experience in Franchise Sales or Business Development within the retail sector. **Key Skills & Competencies:** - Deep understanding of retail real estate and store build-out phases. - Expert negotiation and persuasive presentation skills. - Proficient in CRM software for managing sales pipeline. - Strong project management and coordination abilities.
