Role Description

  • Market and User Research:

    Lead deep-dive research to uncover

    unmet customer needs

    and market gaps. This includes conducting user interviews, competitive analysis, and synthesizing data to inform product decisions. The KRA here is to deliver

    actionable insights

    that directly influence the product roadmap and feature prioritization
  • Product-Market Fit Validation:

    Work with the product team to design and execute experiments to test and validate hypotheses around new features, product positioning, and target audiences. The KRA is to provide a clear, data-backed recommendation on a new product's viability or a feature's potential impact
  • Strategic Roadmap Development:

    Partner with the founder and product leads to define and refine the product roadmap, ensuring it supports long-term business strategy. A key KRA is to develop a

    prioritized, transparent, and defensible product plan

    that aligns with the company's overarching vision
  • Cross-Functional Alignment:

    Act as a central hub for communication between product, engineering, and other teams to ensure everyone is aligned on product vision, goals, and release schedules. A key KRA is to ensure smooth, timely execution of product initiatives with

    minimal friction

    across departments
  • GTM Strategy Formulation:

    Develop a comprehensive GTM plan for new products or market entries. This includes defining the target audience, crafting the value proposition and messaging, and identifying key distribution and marketing channels. The KRA is to produce a

    complete, end-to-end GTM playbook

    that sets the foundation for a successful launch.
  • Launch Execution:

    Lead and coordinate the launch of new products or features. This involves managing timelines, aligning marketing, sales, and customer success teams, and ensuring all assets and materials are ready. The KRA is to execute a

    flawless, on-time launch

    that meets predefined performance metrics (e.g., user sign-ups, downloads, or initial revenue).
  • Early Customer Acquisition:

    Drive early traction by leading the initial sales and marketing efforts. This often involves founder-led sales, cold outreach, and developing early customer relationships. A key KRA is to secure the

    first set of paying customers

    and gather qualitative feedback that can be used to iterate on the GTM strategy.
  • Performance Tracking:

    Define and track key metrics to measure the success of GTM initiatives. This includes KPIs like customer acquisition cost (CAC), lead-to-customer conversion rates, and early-stage revenue. The KRA is to provide

    real-time, data-driven insights

    into the GTM strategy's effectiveness and propose adjustments.


Qualifications

  • Strategic Planning, Project Coordination, Cross-functional Collaboration skills

  • Experience in the e-commerce sector is a plus
