Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Financial Analyst to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will analyze financial data, create reports, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making. You will play a vital role in budgeting, forecasting, and identifying opportunities to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare accurate financial models and forecasts to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor budgets, providing variance analysis and actionable recommendations.
  • Analyze key financial metrics and deliver reports to management, highlighting risks and opportunities.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end financial close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Conduct market and industry research to support competitive analysis and business development initiatives.
  • Evaluate financial performance by comparing results against budgets and historical data.
  • Prepare presentations and reports for stakeholders, summarizing financial results and recommendations.
  • Support cost-saving initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and recommending process improvements.
  • Stay updated on financial regulations and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling techniques.
  • Knowledge of financial systems and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar).
  • Solid understanding of financial statements, ratios, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced certifications such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or CPA (Certified Public Accountant).
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Knowledge of SQL or other data analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with budgeting and forecasting software.
  • Experience in [specific industry, e.g., healthcare, technology, manufacturing, etc.] is a plus.
