Finance Head

Role Overview:

The Head of Finance will lead the financial planning and strategy for the organization, ensuring sustainable growth and long-term value creation. This role requires a forward-looking leader who can translate financial insights into strategic business decisions. The incumbent will be responsible for managing financial resources, driving performance, and enabling data-driven decision-making to support the company’s future growth ambitions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning & Financial Leadership

• Develop and execute financial strategies that support business growth, profitability, and long-term sustainability.
• Partner with senior leadership to shape business strategy through financial insight, forecasting, and scenario planning.
• Evaluate potential investment opportunities, mergers, and acquisitions through detailed financial modeling and discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis.
• Lead annual and long-range business planning, ensuring alignment between strategic goals and financial objectives.

2. Financial Analysis & Decision Support

• Analyze financial statements and performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
• Provide data-driven recommendations for capital allocation, pricing strategies, cost optimization, and business expansion.
• Support key decisions such as new project investments, capital raising, or setting annual and project-level budgets.
• Implement financial models and tools to assess strategic options and measure value creation.

3. Budgeting, Forecasting & Reporting

• Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy, accountability, and forward visibility.
• Monitor financial performance versus plan, providing timely analysis and actionable insights.
• Establish KPIs and dashboards for tracking business performance across functions.

4. Financial Governance & Risk Management

• Ensure sound financial controls, compliance, and governance in line with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee risk management frameworks and financial policies to protect organizational assets.
• Optimize working capital, capital structure, and liquidity management.

5. Leadership & Team Development

• Build and lead a high-performing finance team that supports strategic and operational excellence.
• Promote a culture of analytical rigor, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the finance function.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent professional qualification.
• 10–15 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a strategic leadership role.
• Proven expertise in financial planning, analysis, forecasting, and capital budgeting.
• Strong understanding of valuation methodologies, DCF, and investment appraisal techniques.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and analytical tools (Excel, Power BI, ERP systems, etc.).
• Experience working in dynamic, growth-oriented organizations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
