Finance Head

The Finance Head will be responsible for establishing and strengthening financial and operational controls across the organization. This role will lead all financial planning, accounting, reporting, taxation, compliance, and audit activities, while providing strategic financial insights to support business growth and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management & Reporting

• Plan, implement, manage, and control all financial accounting, reporting, and taxation activities.
  
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closure, including

  Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements

  .
• Finalize monthly P&L and Balance Sheet with detailed analysis and commentary.
  
• Oversee MIS reporting and develop financial dashboards for management review.
  

Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis

• Work closely with management to develop annual budgets, operating plans, and long-term financial strategies.
  
• Coordinate and direct preparation of financial forecasts and variance analysis by

  Line of Business / Cost Centre

  (Revenue, P&L, Overheads, Capex).
• Regularly review budgets and financial plans to identify

  cost optimization and efficiency improvement opportunities

  .
• Provide financial analysis to support

  capital investments, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations

  .

Compliance, Audit & Governance

• Ensure full compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements including

  Companies Act, RBI regulations, Income Tax Act, GST/Service Tax, Sales Tax, and FEMA

  .
• Liaise with tax, audit, and legal consultants for statutory audits, tax filings, assessments, and follow-ups on audit observations and board minutes.
  
• Support internal and external audits and ensure closure of audit findings in a timely manner.
  
• Apply

  IFRS principles

  where applicable and ensure alignment with global reporting standards.

Working Capital & Control

• Scrutinize

  creditors and debtors accounts

  , ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct periodic reviews of

  debtors/creditors aging, operating cycle, and cash flow efficiency

  .
• Review and control overhead accounts to ensure cost discipline and policy compliance.
  
• Strengthen internal controls and risk management frameworks across finance operations.
  

Desired Candidate Profile:

Qualifications

• CA / CMA / CFA / MBA (Finance)

  preferred.
• Big 4 audit experience is a strong advantage.
  

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong exposure to

  MIS reporting, financial dashboards, and management reporting

  .
• Sound knowledge of

  accounting principles, financial controls, taxation, and compliance frameworks

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  IFRS reporting standards

  .
• High analytical ability with strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
  
• Ability to handle large volumes of financial data and deliver insights.
