Finance & Accounts Manager

Position Overview:

The Finance & Accounts Manager will oversee all financial and accounting operations of the design firm, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and transparency in financial reporting. The role involves managing budgets, taxation, vendor payments, client billing, audits, and overall financial planning to support the company’s growth and creative operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting & Financial Management

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
• Ensure timely closure of books of accounts.
• Maintain and monitor cash flow, fund flow, and working capital requirements.

2. Budgeting & Forecasting

• Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts in coordination with management.
• Monitor expenses against approved budgets and highlight deviations.
• Provide strategic financial analysis to support business decisions and profitability.

3. Taxation & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations such as GST, TDS, Income Tax and other applicable laws.
• Handle coordination with statutory auditors and internal auditors.
• Prepare and file tax returns and manage all financial audits.

4. Billing & Project Costing

• Oversee client invoicing, milestone billing, and collection follow-ups.
• Track project-wise costing, profitability, and expense control.
• Work closely with project and design teams to ensure financial accuracy in quotations and proposals.

5. Vendor & Bank Relations

• Manage vendor payments, contracts, and reconciliations.
• Coordinate with banks for working capital management, loans, and other financial instruments.

6. Team Management & Reporting

• Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team.
• Prepare management reports and present financial insights to the Directors.
• Ensure confidentiality and integrity of all financial data.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
