Finance and Accounting Manager

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with U.S. GAAP.
• Consolidate and reconcile branch-level financial data, including loan origination revenues and expenses.
• Handle reporting for HUD, FHA, VA, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac requirements.
• Perform variance analysis and provide actionable insights to management.

2. Payroll Management

• Manage bi-weekly and monthly payroll for U.S. employees in compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Coordinate with LO branches to capture accurate commission structures, bonuses, and incentive payouts.
• Ensure accurate deductions, benefits, and tax withholdings.
• Liaise with U.S. payroll vendors for processing and compliance.

3. Branch Coordination

• Act as the primary offshore point of contact for U.S. Loan Officer branches.
• Resolve finance-related queries from LOs and branch managers.
• Ensure branch compliance with reporting and payroll timelines.

4. Compliance & Audit

• Support internal and external audits, including SOX compliance.
• Maintain proper documentation for payroll, financial statements, and branch accounting.

5. Process Improvements

• Identify automation opportunities to streamline reporting and payroll workflows.
• Recommend process enhancements for branch-level finance operations

Qualifications & SkillsEducation:

• Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA (U.S.), CMA, or MBA in Finance/Accounting.

Experience:

• 7+ years in financial reporting and payroll processing, preferably for U.S. clients in mortgage, banking, or financial services.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and payroll tax compliance.
• Experience in branch-level financial coordination is preferred.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in QuickBooks, ADP, Paychex, or similar U.S. payroll systems.
• Experience with LOS accounting modules (e.g., Encompass).
• Advanced skills in Excel; Power BI knowledge is a plus.

Soft Skills:

• Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
• Strong communication skills for direct coordination with U.S. stakeholders.
• High attention to accuracy and timelines.
