Finance & Accounts Manager

As a Finance & Accounts Manager at our client in the FMCG sector, you will be responsible for the following key activities: - Handling the entire accounts activities - Managing Indirect Taxation including VAT, Central Excise, and Service Tax - Leading a team to ensure overall compliance with statutory, financial, and accounting regulations - Managing Working Capital effectively - Ensuring compliance with Direct taxation statutory requirements - Reviewing regional performance, receivables, cash flow, and taxation - Preparing and monitoring the Annual Budget for the Head Office - Developing processes and procedures to enhance efficiency, including regular updation and reporting of Management Information System (MIS) - Managing general ledgers, financial accounting, fixed assets, and financial reporting - Establishing and maintaining an accurate accounting system for management reporting needs In order to be successful in this role, you should meet the following qualifications: - Must be a Chartered Accountant - 4+ years of post-qualification experience in a similar role within the FMCG/Pharma/FMCD/Factory sector - At least 2 years of experience in Indirect Taxation (VAT, Central Excise, Service Tax) - Strong numerical and analytical skills with accuracy in report generation - Proficiency in MIS - Ability to join on short notice The annual salary for this position is 10-12 LPA.
