Finance & Accounts Manager

Job Purpose: The Finance & Accounts Manager will be responsible for managing the company’s financial health by overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, compliance, and internal controls. The role is critical in supporting business growth across retail outlets, manufacturing, and supply chain operations. Key Responsibilities: Financial Accounting & Reporting, oversee day-to-day accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, and inventory accounting. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with statutory requirements. Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closures. Maintain proper documentation and accounting records. Budgeting, Forecasting & MIS Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections. Track budget vs. actual performance and provide variance analysis. Develop and present MIS reports to management for informed decision-making. Taxation & Compliance: Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliance's. Ensure timely filing of returns and coordination with tax consultants. Manage statutory audits, internal audits, and assessments. Cost Control & Inventory Management: Monitor product costing, margins, and operational expenses. Work closely with operations and supply chain teams to control costs and manage inventory efficiently. Ensure accurate stock valuation across manufacturing units and retail outlets. Cash Flow & Banking: Manage cash flows, working capital, and banking relationships. Oversee receivables, payables, and credit control. Handle fund planning and optimize cash utilization. Team & Process Management: Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team. Implement and improve internal controls, systems, and SOPs. Support ERP/accounting system implementation and enhancements. Qualifications & Experience: Education: CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) / M.Com Experience: 5–8 years of relevant experience in finance & accounts Experience in retail, FMCG, food & beverage, or manufacturing industries preferred Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, and statutory compliances Key Skills & Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Hands-on experience with accounting software (Tally, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP) Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work in a fast-paced, growing organization Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Aubree offers opportunity to work with a fast-growing premium chocolatier brand Collaborative and entrepreneurial work culture Competitive compensation and growth opportunities
