The Field Service Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating field service operations to ensure timely and efficient support for customers. This role involves tracking service activities, maintaining service records, and acting as a key communication link between customers, field engineers and internal teams.

The Field Service Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating field service operations to ensure timely and efficient support for customers. This role involves tracking service activities, maintaining service records, and acting as a key communication link between customers, field engineers and internal teams.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily schedules and dispatch of Repaired Instruments.
  • Monitor and manage customer service requests, ensuring prompt resolution and follow-up.
  • Act as a liaison between service and production teams to coordinate repair activities for returned or defective instruments.
  • Schedule and track production repair tasks.
  • Maintain accurate service documentation including reports, checklists, and equipment logs.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and logistics for service needs.
  • Facilitate internal communication and process improvements across service and production interfaces.
  • Generate service performance metrics and support continuous improvement.


Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Electronics, Biomedical, or related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years in a field service, customer support, or coordination role (medical device or technical industry preferred).


Required Skills

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, ERP system.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of medical device service compliance (desirable).


Preferred Skills

  • Experience in the medical device or technical industry.
