Position: Sr. Manager/Manager MaintenanceLocation - NagpurReporting - GM Operations Work Experience and Skills: Experience: • Must be B.Tech / B.E in either Electronics or Electrical or Mechatronics only • Minimum 12 to 15 years in manufacturing • Desirable industry: office furniture / automobile / automobile ancillary Must have Lead team for atleast 3 5 years in plant maintenance • Understanding Safety is desirable, safety certification is not required Skill: Hands-on experience in maintenance of CNC, PLC machines (must) and sheet metal (desirable) • Hand on experience to work on Electrical/Mechanical/Instrumentation/Hydraulic/ Pneumatic system/ End to End communication (Profibus/Modbus/Ether cat etc) Preventive & break down Maintenance • Analytical approach for equipment reliability & performance • Result oriented Working in TPM culture • Basic knowledge documentation & requirement of QMS, EMS, OSHA, Energy management, WRI, legal requirements related to Electrical, Environment, Safety etc. • Hand on experience for CNC hardware / software trouble shooting & restoration Working Experience in heavy wood working & Sheet metal with powder coating will be added advantage. Competencies: • Specialization in Plant Maintenance. • Electrical supervisor license. (Optional) • Must be aware of various statutory norms as per factory act, MPCB, MIDC, DISH, MSEB, Purpose of Role/Job Summary: Lead the site Maintenance function in providing both a reactive and proactive, multi-skilled maintenance service on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure. Responsible for planned to schedule creation and overseeing the adherence and timely completion of work carried out. Increase the site operational effectiveness, improve on project delivery, mean time between failure and downtime reduction, and manage and implement improvement plans, driving Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) ensuring that Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered to. Manage the team on technical best practice and establish standard policies and procedures whilst also mentoring and leading the department. Implement and manage continuous improvement and modern manufacturing principles by highlighting deficiencies and recommending changes in training, working practices and processes. Resource Management and Legal compliances • Manage, coach, and develop a high performing Maintenance team that meets agreed objectives, and which delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements. • Motivate and coach the team to operational success. • Prepare the annual Maintenance budget and forecasts and all Capital Expenditure proposals as well as ensuring compliance with legal standards. Manage the budget from identification to completion of projects. • Regular monitoring of performance of external services (i.e. AMC, OEM services) • Ensure effective deployment of asset management plan in line with business requirement. • Ensure requirement of property risk assessment. • Ensure 100% on time completion of applicable legal compliances. • Regularly monitoring on updates or change in legal requirement.
