F&B Manager

As the Food and Beverage Manager at Marriott International, you will be responsible for overseeing all food and beverage operations, including culinary, restaurant, beverage, and room service. Your role involves ensuring guest and employee satisfaction, maintaining standards, and meeting financial goals. You will need to demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in all applicable food and beverage laws and regulations, as well as develop and implement a business plan for the food and beverage department. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and manage financial, employee engagement, and guest satisfaction plans for the Food and Beverage departments. - Maintain a positive cost management index for kitchen and restaurant operations. - Lead and manage the Food and Beverage team, supervising employees and overseeing day-to-day operations. - Create a motivating and empowering environment that encourages teamwork, continuous improvement, and exceptional service. - Provide excellent customer service to all employees and respond proactively to their concerns. - Set service expectations for both internal and external guests and ensure all banquet functions exceed expectations. - Conduct performance reviews, identify developmental needs, and provide guidance to subordinates. - Comply with corporate accounting procedures and drive effective departmental communication and information systems. **Qualifications Required:** - High school diploma or GED with 4 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area; OR a 2-year degree in Food Service Management or related major with 2 years of experience. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others. - Demonstrated ability to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work, setting clear expectations with employees and team leaders. - Experience in managing and conducting human resource activities, including performance reviews and employee development. - Knowledge of food and beverage laws and regulations, as well as a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
