ob Purpose:

The Factory Head is responsible for leading all manufacturing operations of the cosmetic packaging plant—including production, quality assurance, maintenance, safety, and logistics—to ensure the delivery of high-quality packaging products that meet customer and regulatory standards. The role focuses on operational excellence, cost efficiency, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:1. Production & Operations Management

• Oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations for cosmetic packaging products (plastic bottles, jars, closures, tubes, caps, cartons, etc.).
• Ensure production schedules are achieved in line with customer demand and delivery commitments.
• Monitor production metrics (OEE, yield, downtime, scrap rate) and drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate between molding, printing, decoration, and assembly departments for smooth workflow.

2. Quality & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to cosmetic industry quality standards and hygiene protocols (ISO 9001, GMP, and client-specific requirements).
• Implement rigorous in-process and final quality checks to minimize rejections and customer complaints.
• Lead root-cause analysis for quality issues and drive corrective/preventive actions.
• Maintain traceability and documentation for audits and client inspections.

3. People & Team Leadership

• Lead and develop a cross-functional team including production, quality, maintenance, and logistics staff.
• Build competency across departments through training, mentoring, and skill upgradation programs.
• Foster a culture of ownership, safety, and continuous improvement.

4. Engineering & Maintenance

• Ensure proper maintenance of injection molding, blow molding, extrusion, and printing machines.
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Support installation and commissioning of new machinery or automation systems.

5. Cost Control & Efficiency

• Drive initiatives for cost reduction in materials, energy, manpower, and wastage.
• Monitor production costs, yield, and efficiency to meet budgetary goals.
• Optimize material usage and ensure proper inventory control of raw materials, consumables, and finished goods.

6. Safety, Health & Environment (SHE)

• Ensure compliance with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) regulations and factory laws.
• Promote safe work practices, housekeeping, and cleanliness across all production areas.
• Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and training programs.

7. Supply Chain & Customer Interface

• Coordinate with procurement, planning, and logistics teams to ensure timely material availability and dispatches.
• Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to align production with customer requirements and deadlines.
• Participate in customer visits and audits to represent the factory’s capabilities.

8. Strategic & Continuous Improvement

• Identify and implement process automation and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Support R&D and tool room teams in new product development and packaging innovation.
• Contribute to capacity expansion, layout optimization, and productivity improvement projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
