Factory Head

As a Factory Head, you will be responsible for leading and managing end-to-end production operations. Your primary focus will be on ensuring cost-effective manufacturing, adherence to timelines, and maintaining high-quality standards while effectively managing people and processes. Your key responsibilities will include: - Driving cost-effective production and optimizing resource utilization. - Monitoring and ensuring compliance with all production procedures and SOPs. - Implementing and tracking the Time and Action Calendar for seamless production flow. - Coordinating with cross-functional teams (raw materials, fabrics, trims, suppliers, factories) to ensure production deadlines are consistently met. - Overseeing planning, price closure, and allocation of resources. - Ensuring timely execution of production schedules in alignment with the Product Development Calendar. - Maintaining strong vendor and supplier relationships to ensure smooth operations. - Leading recruitment, training, and performance management of factory staff. - Collaborating with branding and marketing teams for production-related support. - Maintaining compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements. In addition to the above responsibilities, you should possess the following skillsets and competencies: - Strong knowledge of apparel manufacturing processes (cutting, sewing, finishing). - Expertise in production planning, scheduling, and execution. - Ability to manage price points and cost negotiations. - Proven leadership, people management, and team development skills. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management. - Ability to build and maintain relationships across teams and vendors. - Proficiency in monitoring KPIs and driving continuous improvement. - Knowledge of compliance, health & safety, and quality assurance standards.
