Job Summary

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will be responsible for managing and executing end-to-end HR processes to drive business performance and enhance employee experience. The role involves partnering with business leaders on people strategy, employee relations, engagement initiatives, and rewards and recognition programs. This position requires a strong understanding of HR practices, analytics, and stakeholder management, along with a proactive approach to driving organizational culture and employee satisfaction.

Principal Accountabilities

HR Business Partnering

  • Partner with business leaders to understand employee needs and develop people strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Drive key HR processes such as talent management, compensation and performance metrics, goal setting, succession planning, and employee development.
  • Manage employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, internal movements, and exit formalities to ensure a seamless employee experience.
  • Counsel managers and employees on performance, conduct, and employee relations matters; provide guidance to ensure fairness and compliance.
  • Conduct regular employee connects, pulse checks, and grievance resolution to maintain a positive and transparent workplace.
  • Analyze HR metrics and dashboards to identify trends and recommend interventions for attrition, engagement, and productivity improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to HR policies, documentation standards, and compliance with internal and external audits.
  • Act as a liaison with HR Shared Services and COE teams for payroll, benefits, and policy execution.

Employee Engagement

  • Design, plan, and implement employee engagement initiatives aimed at improving eNPS and strengthening organizational culture.
  • Drive the end-to-end Rewards & Recognition (R&R) process from nominations and evaluation to execution of awards and ceremonies.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, leadership, and functional teams to ensure timely implementation of monthly, quarterly, and annual R&R programs.
  • Manage logistics, communication, and event execution for recognition ceremonies across locations.
  • Monitor R&R budget utilization and ensure alignment with organizational guidelines.
  • Develop communication plans to promote recognition initiatives and celebrate achievements across teams.
  • Generate periodic reports on participation, award distribution, and recognition effectiveness.

Job Complexity

Incumbent works under broad supervision and exercises a high degree of discretion in varying from established procedures. The role involves solving complex people-related issues, interpreting HR policies, and influencing business decisions through data and insights. The individual is expected to independently manage HRBP and engagement portfolios, with minimal supervision and high accountability.

Experience / Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA / PGDM / Master’s in Human Resources preferred.
  • Typically requires 3–4 years of relevant experience in HRBP, Employee Engagement, or Rewards & Recognition.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); knowledge of HR systems and design tools (e.g., Canva, Power BI) is an advantage.
