Job Title : Executive Chef

Location : Head Office -Marol / Units- Vashi, Malad, Mira Road, Nariman Point
Department : Food & Beverage / Culinary
Reports To : VP Operations
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced, creative, and passionate Executive Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The Executive Chef is responsible for managing all kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and service across all F&B outlets within the restaurant brand - Kamats Legacy. This leadership role also involves menu planning, budgeting, team management, new product development and maintaining health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the daily operations of all kitchen outlets and culinary staff.
  • Develop innovative, seasonal, and on-brand menus that reflect guest preferences and current culinary trends.
  • Maintain the highest standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Collaborate with Food & Beverage management on pricing, inventory control, and menu engineering.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff to ensure a productive, professional, and efficient team.
  • Ensure all kitchens comply with local health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards.
  • Monitor food and labor costs and implement strategies to maximize profitability without compromising quality.
  • Coordinate with events and banquet teams for special functions, weddings, and conferences.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, creativity, and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management preferred.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a luxury hotel, resort, or upscale dining environment.
  • Proven track record in kitchen leadership, staff management, and menu development.
  • Strong knowledge of various cuisines and cooking techniques. Preferable Cuisine : South Indian
  • Solid understanding of food costing, budgeting, and kitchen financial controls.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Food Safety Certification.

Preferred Skills:

  • International culinary exposure or experience in multicultural environments.
  • Experience with sustainability practices and farm-to-table concepts.
  • Proficiency in kitchen management software and inventory systems.

Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
