Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Executive Chef based in Guwahati. The Executive Chef will oversee all kitchen activities, including menu planning, food preparation, and ensuring that high culinary standards are consistently achieved. Responsibilities include managing kitchen staff, maintaining cleanliness and compliance with food safety regulations, and collaborating with management to enhance the dining experience. The Executive Chef will play a key role in showcasing local flavors and incorporating heritage-inspired cuisine into the resort's offerings.

Qualifications

• Expertise in culinary arts, menu planning, and creating innovative, high-quality dishes
• Strong management and leadership skills to supervise and coordinate a diverse kitchen team
• Knowledge of food safety standards, kitchen operations, and budget management
• Experience with traditional and regional cuisines, preferably with exposure to Northeast Indian flavors
• Excellent organization and time management skills to handle high-pressure environments
• Ability to maintain an eco-conscious approach to sourcing and preparing ingredients
• Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or equivalent professional experience
• Prior experience in a similar role within the hospitality or luxury hotel industry is an asset
