The Chief Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the entire engineering department, managing maintenance operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and leading a team of engineers and technicians. Day-to-day tasks include routine inspections, coordinating repairs and maintenance projects, managing budgets, and conducting training sessions for staff. Qualifications Strong technical skills in maintenance and repairs of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other systems Experience in managing engineering teams and projects Proficiency in budgeting and financial management Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to understand and adhere to safety regulations and standards Strong leadership and communication skills Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field Professional engineering certification is a plus Experience in the hospitality industry is beneficial
