*Urgent Opportunity with a Well Established Renowned Real Estate firm** Position: Cluster Head – Projects Budget: Up to 65 LPA* Basis last Drawn Education: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Mandatory), Master’s in Project Management / Construction Management (Preferred), Certification in Primavera / PMP is a plus Job Location: Mumbai (SoBo – Sites will be assigned as per your experience) Role Summary: The Planning Manager will oversee the project planning function in large-scale, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and quality execution. This leadership role demands expertise in project scheduling, forecasting, risk management, and cross-functional coordination. The Planning Manager will drive strategic planning initiatives, optimize resources, and provide critical insights to support project delivery aligned with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities: 1. Strategic Project Planning: Develop and maintain master schedules, baseline programs, and construction sequences using Primavera P6 and MS Project. Translate project scopes into deliverables, milestones, and integrated timelines. Establish planning procedures, templates, and best practices across all projects. 2. Monitoring & Control: Lead the monitoring of project progress against key performance indicators (KPIs), timelines, and budgets. Prepare and present executive dashboards, earned value analysis, and deviation reports. Flag variances, analyze root causes, and recommend recovery strategies. 3. Stakeholder Management & Coordination: Collaborate closely with internal teams (design, procurement, execution) and external agencies (consultants, contractors). Participate in project review meetings with senior management and external stakeholders. Facilitate timely resolution of interface issues across disciplines and teams. 4. Resource & Cost Optimization: Forecast and allocate manpower, materials, and equipment across multiple projects. Provide planning inputs for cost estimations, tendering, and procurement strategies. Drive initiatives for process improvements, productivity tracking, and waste reduction. 5. Regulatory & Compliance Oversight: Ensure planning compliance with RERA, BMC, environmental clearances, and local authority norms. Support in statutory approvals, documentation, and audit preparedness. 6. Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate planning logs, contract deliverables, and risk registers. Support claims management, delay analysis, and contractual dispute resolution. Ensure all planning documentation is updated and archived systematically. Key Requirements: Experience- 15-20 years of experience in project planning, preferably in high-rise residential, commercial, or mixed-use real estate developments. Proven experience leading planning functions for at least two full lifecycle projects. Technical Skills- Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, AutoCAD, and ERP tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar). Deep understanding of project planning principles, construction methodologies, and contracts (e.g., FIDIC, EPC).
