Key Responsibilities
Monitor and Optimize Email Deliverability:
- Oversee all aspects of email deliverability, ensuring that email campaigns reach the intended recipients' inboxes.
- Identify and resolve any issues related to spam traps, black-listings, and IP/domain reputation.
- Implement and maintain email authentication protocols such as DKIM, SPF, and DMARC.
Analyze And Report On Email Performance
- Track and report key deliverability metrics such as bounce rates, spam complaint rates, and inbox placement rates.
- Provide regular insights and recommendations to improve email campaign performance based on data analysis.
Maintain And Improve Email Infrastructure
- Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to ensure the reliability and scalability of the email delivery infrastructure.
- Work closely with email service providers (ESPs) to troubleshoot and optimize delivery issues.
Compliance And Best Practices
- Ensure compliance with global email regulations such as CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and CASL.
- Educate internal teams on best practices for email list management, including list segmentation, hygiene, and permission-based marketing.
Strategy And Innovation
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the deliverability of email marketing campaigns.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to email deliverability and incorporate them into the company's email strategy.
Requirements/Qualifications
Experience:
- 3-10 years of experience in email deliverability, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Proven track record of managing and improving email deliverability metrics at scale.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of email authentication protocols (DKIM, SPF, DMARC).
- Experience with email deliverability tools
- Proficiency in using email marketing platforms and analytics tools (smartlead, lemlist, clay)
Compliance Knowledge
- In-depth knowledge of global email regulations, including CAN-SPAM, GDPR.
Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills
- Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize email performance.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on improving deliverability rates and reducing email bounce and complaint rates.
Communication Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, IT, or a related field is preferred.
