Email Deliverability Manager

Key Responsibilities

Email Deliverability & Optimization

• Oversee and optimize email deliverability to ensure campaigns consistently reach inboxes.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues related to spam traps, blacklists, and IP/domain reputation.
• Implement and maintain authentication standards including SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
  

Performance Tracking & Insights

• Monitor key deliverability metrics such as bounce rates, spam complaints, and inbox placement.
• Analyze performance reports and provide actionable recommendations to enhance campaign outcomes.
  

Infrastructure Management

• Collaborate with IT/DevOps teams to maintain reliable and scalable email delivery systems.
• Partner with ESPs to troubleshoot and improve deliverability challenges.
  

Compliance & Best Practices

• Ensure adherence to global email regulations including CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and CASL.
• Guide internal teams on email list hygiene, segmentation, and permission-based marketing practices.
  

Strategy & Innovation

• Develop and execute strategies to enhance overall email deliverability and performance.
• Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and emerging best practices to continuously improve deliverability strategy.
  

Requirements & Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in email deliverability, preferably within a B2B environment.
• Strong expertise in email authentication standards (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
• Experience with deliverability and campaign performance tools (e.g., Smartlead, Lemlist, Clay).
• Solid understanding of global email compliance standards (CAN-SPAM, GDPR).
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to derive data-driven insights and solve complex deliverability challenges.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical information for various stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, IT, or a related discipline (preferred).
