Drone Technician

We are seeking skilled and dedicated Technicians for immediate joining in our innovative drone show operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of drone swarm systems used in aerial displays. This hands-on role requires technical expertise across mechanical, electronics, and computer systems to ensure flawless drone show performances.

Key Responsibilities Technical Operations & Maintenance

• Conduct pre-flight inspections and system checks for drone swarm operations   
• Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and repair of drone hardware components  
• Execute flight operations setup including drone calibration, communication systems, and safety  protocols     
• Troubleshoot technical issues during rehearsals and live performances     
• Maintain detailed logs of equipment status, maintenance activities, and performance metrics  

Electronics & Computer Systems

• Configure and maintain flight control systems and communication networks     
• Setup and manage ground control stations and telemetry systems     
• Install and configure LED lighting systems and payload components   
• Perform software updates, parameter tuning, and system diagnostics     
• Monitor real-time flight data and system performance during operations  

Field Operations & Setup

• Deploy and setup drone show infrastructure at various venues and locations     
• Coordinate technical aspects of site preparation and safety zone establishment     
• Operate charging stations, battery management systems, and power distribution     
• Conduct range testing and interference checks at show locations     
• Support choreography testing and performance rehearsals  

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with DGCA regulations and safety protocols     
• Implement emergency procedures and recovery operations     
• Conduct risk assessments for show venues and flight operations 
• Maintain safety equipment and emergency response capabilities    
• Document and report any incidents or safety concerns  

Required Qualifications Education

• Diploma/ITI degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related  technical discipline     
• Relevant technical certifications in electronics, mechanical systems, or computer hardware  

Experience

• 0-4 years of hands-on technical experience in electronics, mechanical systems, or computer hardware 
• Experience with UAV/drone systems, robotics, or automated systems preferred     
• Background in field operations, technical support, or maintenance roles  

Technical Expertise

• Proficiency in drone hardware components, sensors, and flight control systems     
• Knowledge of electronics troubleshooting, circuit analysis, and component-level repair  
• Understanding of computer networks, wireless communication systems, and data protocols  
• Experience with battery technologies, charging systems, and power management
