We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, highly motivated and hands-on director of web and mobile application with passion for building human centric digital consumer experience transformation in the healthcare.

Candidate Profile:-
Experience
:12–15 years
in software engineering, with at least 8+ years in leadership roles
building, leading and delivering next generation healthcare mobile and web applications- Proven track record of delivering
multiple large-scale healthcare web & mobile applications
for the U.S. health systems, health plans, or digital health product companies. - Prior experience in developing
patient engagement, patient experience, digital front door platform, telehealth, population health, and provider/payer portals and website , mobile app re-engineering
is must.
Domain Knowledge
:- Strong understanding of
U.S. healthcare workflows
, including patient access, clinical documentation, scheduling, revenue cycle, care coordination, and payer-member engagement. - Experience integrating apps with
EHRs (Epic, Cerner, Meditech, Allscripts)
using HL7, FHIR APIs, SMART on FHIR, and custom integrations. - Familiarity with
healthcare compliance standards
: HIPAA, HITECH, GDPR, HITRUST.
Technical Skills
:- Hands-on expertise in
web frameworks
(Angular, React, Vue.js) and mobile platforms
(iOS/Android, React Native, Flutter). - Knowledge of
cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP)
, microservices, CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps. - Strong background in
API-first architectures, healthcare interoperability (HL7, FHIR, TEFCA)
, and secure data handling. - Familiarity with
analytics integration
(patient engagement dashboards, sentiment tracking, predictive alerts).
Education & Certifications
:- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Preferred certifications: PMP/Agile, SAFe, HL7/FHIR, AWS/Azure/GCP Cloud Architect, Mobile app security certifications.
Key Responsibilities
Web & Mobile App Delivery
- Lead the
design, development, and delivery
of scalable, secure, patient-centric web and mobile healthcare applications. - Develop
digital front door platform,
patient scheduling apps, provider communication portals, telehealth apps, patient education, and care-management platforms, healthcare market place portal, website and mobile app reengineering, - Ensure apps are
interoperable with EHRs, payer systems, and third-party healthcare data sources
using HL7/FHIR. - Deliver high-performance applications optimized for
usability, accessibility, and HIPAA compliance
. - Ensure all applications adhere to
HIPAA/HITECH standards
, with data encryption, access control, audit logging, and PHI/PII protection
. - Evaluate and adopt
emerging digital health trends
in the areas such as - remote monitoring apps, AI-driven chatbots, wearable integrations, voice interfaces. - Incorporate
patient sentiment analysis, SEO/ORM monitoring, and analytics dashboards
into mobile/web platforms. - Lead proof-of-concepts for
next-gen digital engagement apps
(e.g., AI triage assistants, care navigation apps, behavioral health tools) where needed.
Leadership & Team Development
- Hire, build and mentor
teams of 5-25 engineers, designers, QA, DevOps
, with a focus on healthcare application delivery
. - Drive training on
security, compliance, and healthcare standards
for app developers. - Establish engineering best practices:
code quality, test automation, DevOps pipelines, mobile security, and performance optimization
. - Achieve
high app adoption and satisfaction scores
among patients, providers, and health plan members. - Demonstrated
30–40% cost optimization
via ScaleHealthTech’s offshore model without compromising quality or compliance. - Build a
ready-to-deploy offshore talent pool
for mobile/web healthcare projects.
Client & Stakeholder Collaboration
- As and when needed, work closely with
U.S. clients (CIOs, CMIOs, CNIOs, Chief Digital Officers)
to define app roadmaps aligned to clinical and patient experience priorities. - Collaborate with ScaleHealthTech’s delivery head, US Sales team in understanding business and technical requirements.
- Provide
technical solutioning support
in RFPs, proposals, and client workshops.
