We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, highly motivated India delivery head who can scale operations, inspire teams, and influence C-level executives in the US Healthcare. Passion for innovation in healthcare IT focusing, AI/ML, patient engagement, interoperability, enterprise business applications such as Workday, Salesforce , Service Now and cloud-native architectures.

What we are looking for:

Experience:

  • 15+ years in IT services Industry, with at least 10+ years in the US healthcare delivery leadership roles managing offshore/onshore healthcare engagements.
  • Proven track record of leading, delivering $10- 100 M delivery portfolios and scaling global delivery centers for a company of repute.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering multiple healthcare software products & programs (EHR, interoperability, HCM/ERP, population health, payer analytics, digital front door solutions).
  • Prior experience in US onsite short or long term preferred.

US Healthcare Domain Expertise:

  • Deep knowledge of U.S. Healthcare ecosystem: provider workflows, payer systems, population health, revenue cycle, claims, and regulatory landscape, consumer experience/ digital front door, U.S. healthcare reporting (HEDIS, CMS quality metrics)
  • Should have build, managed and delivered multiple healthcare software projects and products focusing US based Health Systems, Health Plans, Healthcare ISV’s.
  • EHR Expertise: Epic, Cerner, Meditech, Allscripts with hands-on leadership in EHR integration, HL7/FHIR interfaces, and upgrades.
  • Interoperability: TEFCA, CMS 9115-F/0057-F rules, HL7 v2/v3, FHIR, CDA, ONC mandates, healthcare data unification across EHR, labs, claims, and SDOH.
  • Regulatory/Compliance: HIPAA, HITECH, HITRUST, SOC2, GDPR; FDA Class II/III validation a plus.

Leadership & Delivery:

  • Should have proven experience in leading, managing distributed engineering teams across India and U.S with a mix of developers, architects, project managers, QA, DevOps, HL7/FHIR specialists, and data scientists.
  • Strong P&L ownership: optimizing margins, utilization, cost efficiency while maintaining high client satisfaction.
  • Boardroom presence: experience working with health systems CIOs, CDOs, CMIOs, CNIOs, and senior payer/provider executives.

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Preferred: MBA with specialization in Technology/Operations.
  • Certifications: PMP, SAFe/Agile, ITIL, HL7/FHIR, HITRUST, or Epic/Cerner certifications.

Job duties and core Responsibilities:

Delivery and Execution:

  • Own

    end-to-end delivery

    of healthcare products and projects, including

    patient-centric apps, population health solutions, care management platforms, payer analytics, and ERP/HCM modernizations (Oracle, Workday, Salesforce, Infor – IT Professional Services)

    .
  • Establish delivery processes (Agile, scaled Agile, DevOps) tuned for

    healthcare regulatory and patient-safety environments

    .
  • Drive

    on-time, compliant delivery

    with measurable outcomes , backlog reduction, cost efficiency, faster go-lives

Talent & Team Development

  • Hire, build and scale multi-disciplinary teams with skills in

    engineering, Workday, Oracle HCM, SalesForce, Next JS, Cloud Architect, HL7/FHIR interface development, healthcare data engineering, QA/validation under HIPAA/FDA guidelines, cloud/AI/ML in healthcare

  • Foster training, certifications, and partnerships to ensure teams are

    ahead of U.S. healthcare technology trends

    .
  • Mentor leaders who can run pods for

    Cerner support, HL7/FHIR integration, Workday/ERP, offshore analytics and 24×7 monitoring

    .

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as senior single point of

    delivery leader contact for the U.S. based CIOs, CDO’s, CMIOs, CNIOs, and payer technology executives

    , ensuring projects align to business, clinical, and compliance needs.
  • Support business development by shaping

    solutions, RFP responses, and offshore cost models

    with quantifiable impact.
  • Serve as a trusted

    advisor on healthcare IT delivery strategy

    not just an execution partner.

Compliance & Security Oversight

  • Ensure all delivery adheres to

    HIPAA, HITECH, HITRUST, SOC2, GDPR

    and other regional regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain data security best practices in

    offshore environments handling PHI/PII

    , balancing cost savings with trust and compliance.
  • Drive readiness for external audits (CMS, ONC, HITRUST) and client security reviews.

Financial & Operational Leadership

  • Own

    P&L, budgets, utilization, and efficiency metrics

    of offshore operations.
  • Continuously optimize cost structures via automation, process improvements, and

    leveraging offshore talent pools

  • Report delivery KPIs (quality, velocity, SLA adherence) to global leadership and clients.

Innovation & Thought Leadership

  • Be a ScaleHealthTech thought leader, promote our delivery capability,

    innovation across broad spectrum of digital health

  • Partner with product and architecture teams to ensure solutions are

    scalable, interoperable, cloud-native

    , and aligned with

    emerging U.S. healthcare mandates

    .
  • Represent ScaleHealthTech in the

    CHIME/HIMSS/ViVE/ HL7/ events , workgroup forums

    , strengthening credibility with clients and talent.
