## Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team as an immediate joiner. You will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing our complex infrastructure spanning multiple cloud providers, containerized applications, and legacy systems. You'll work closely with development teams to ensure reliable, scalable, and cost-optimized deployments while maintaining high availability and security standards.

## Key Responsibilities

*Infrastructure Management & Deployment*

- Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and ArgoCD for automated application deployments

- Manage Kubernetes clusters for containerized application orchestration, including deployment strategies, scaling, and resource optimization

- Deploy and maintain applications across AWS EC2, DigitalOcean Droplets, and other cloud infrastructure

- Handle both legacy server-level application deployments and modern containerized workloads

- Implement and manage SSL/TLS certificate rotation and renewal across all environments

*Multi-Cloud & AWS Expertise*

- Architect and manage AWS infrastructure including VPC, EC2, RDS, S3, NAT Gateway, Load Balancers, CloudFront, SES, SNS, Lightsail, EKS, ECS, and ECR

- Manage DigitalOcean infrastructure including Droplets, Object Storage, Kubernetes Services, Networking, and Databases

- Implement cost optimization strategies across multiple cloud providers and accounts

- Monitor cloud spending and implement cost reduction initiatives

*Application Deployment & Management*

- Deploy and manage React, Node.js, and Python applications in production environments

- Implement Kubernetes application deployments with expertise in rollback strategies and zero-downtime updates

- Manage containerization using Docker and Docker Hub for image management

- Ensure seamless integration between applications and infrastructure

*Database & Data Management*

- Administer and optimize relational databases (MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB)

- Manage vector databases (Qdrant) for AI/ML application support

- Implement database backup, recovery, and replication strategies

*Monitoring, Logging & Alerting*

- Implement comprehensive monitoring using Prometheus and Grafana for infrastructure and application metrics

- Configure AlertManager for intelligent alerting and incident response

- Set up centralized logging and observability across all environments

- Create and maintain dashboards for real-time system visibility

*Security & Secrets Management*

- Manage secrets and credentials using HashiCorp Vault

- Implement security best practices for infrastructure, including network security, access controls, and encryption

- Ensure compliance with security standards and perform regular security audits

*Automation & Scripting*

- Develop and maintain Bash scripts for infrastructure automation and operational tasks

- Automate repetitive deployment and maintenance processes

- Create Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions for reproducible deployments

*Collaboration & Support*

- Work closely with development teams to understand application requirements and optimize deployments

- Provide operational support and troubleshoot infrastructure issues

- Document infrastructure architecture, processes, and runbooks

## Required Skills & Experience

*Cloud Platforms (Must Have)*

- 3-5 years of professional DevOps/Cloud Infrastructure experience

- AWS (VPC, EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFront, NAT Gateway, Load Balancer, EKS, ECS, ECR, SES, SNS, Lightsail)

- DigitalOcean (Droplets, Object Storage, Kubernetes Services, Networking, Databases)

- Multi-cloud architecture and management across different cloud providers and AWS accounts

- Cloud cost optimization and cost reduction strategies

*Container & Orchestration (Must Have)*

- Advanced Kubernetes experience including deployment strategies, scaling, and resource management

- Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes application deployments and rollback procedures

- Docker and containerization best practices

- Docker Hub image management and registry operations

*CI/CD & Automation (Must Have)*

- Strong Jenkins CI/CD pipeline development and management

- ArgoCD experience for GitOps-based continuous deployment

- Git and GitHub version control expertise

- Infrastructure automation and scripting

*Databases (Must Have)*

- MySQL administration and optimization

- MongoDB experience

- Qdrant (vector database) knowledge for AI/ML applications

- Database backup, recovery, and replication strategies

*Monitoring & Observability (Must Have)*

- Prometheus metrics collection and configuration

- Terraform or CloudFormation experience

- Helm for Kubernetes package management

- Experience with AI/ML infrastructure
