Job Description: Offshore Delivery Lead – Retail Marketing & Customer Analytics We are looking for a results-driven Offshore Delivery Lead to manage a team of 6 analysts supporting Retail Marketing and Customer Analytics. This team is responsible for delivering data pipelines, performance dashboards, and actionable insights that support marketing campaigns, promotions, and customer experience initiatives across our retail business. As the Offshore Delivery Lead, you will be the key liaison between offshore resources and onshore analytics stakeholders, ensuring smooth delivery, high data quality, and aligned business outcomes. Key Responsibilities Leadership Lead & Manage: Oversee a team of analysts delivering insights, reports, and dashboards Delivery Oversight: Ensure timely execution and quality delivery of analytics assets including ETL pipelines, analysis, dashboards Stakeholder Communication: Act as the offshore point-of-contact for onshore marketing, CRM, and analytics teams—gathering requirements, providing status updates, and managing expectations. Data Infrastructure: Guide the team in maintaining and developing scalable data pipelines and visualization tools using technologies like SQL, Python, Tableau and Looker. Process & Planning: Drive sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily standups. Ensure that team members clearly understand their roles and priorities. Quality Assurance: Implement QA processes for dashboards and reports. Ensure data accuracy and consistency before delivery. Mentoring & Development: Coach and upskill team members in analytics techniques, tools, and domain knowledge relevant to retail Ability to think strategically, seek to expand understanding of business domain, processes, data sources, and relevant key metrics. Problem Solving & technical In this role, you will own the design and development of highly scalable services, data pipelines and database solutions, apply scientific, mathematical and social principles, and deliver on the Nordstrom strategic visions Design and develop distributed data processing pipelines in the Big Data ecosystem in the Cloud, apply data concept, modeling, structures, and infrastructure technologies and adhere to good engineering practices Own responsibility for code reviews and drives accountability Build testing tools and CI/CD pipeline, reduce automation friction to speed up the path to business outcomes Strong critical thinking and storytelling skills. 5+ years of experience analyzing complex data, drawing conclusions, and making recommendations. 2+ years of experience with advanced BI visualization (Tableau or Looker preferred). Passion and aptitude for turning sophisticated problems into concrete hypotheses that can be answered through meticulous data analysis and statistical testing. Experience working in a highly collaborative environment (e.g. code sharing, using revision control, contributing to team discussions/workshops, and document sharing). Requirements 7+ years in analytics, with at least 2 years managing delivery in an offshore model. Experience in retail analytics, customer insights, or campaign performance reporting. Strong hands-on knowledge of SQL, BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker), and familiarity with cloud data platforms ( BigQuery, etc.). Experience building or overseeing marketing dashboards and customer segmentation models. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Knowledge of retail KPIs, such as basket size, purchase frequency, promotion ROI, and omnichannel behavior. Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban) and tools (Jira). Preferred Qualifications Exposure to retail systems like Salesforce, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or loyalty platforms. Marketing attribution models and Applications : MMM, MTA, GA4, Last session etc Experience working with session level data Ability to work overlapping hours with onshore teams in different time zones.
