Learn more about our journey and vision here.Role OverviewWe are looking for a Data Scientist to join our dynamic team and lead AI-driven, data-backeddecision-making for our lending operations. This role offers the opportunity to work at theintersection of data science, AI development, and credit risk management, helping ApolloFinvest scale responsibly while delivering cutting-edge lending solutions.Key Responsibilities● Collaborate with the Credit and Business teams to monitor and mitigate risk exposureacross lending products.● Develop AI-powered underwriting models, risk assessment frameworks, and frauddetection algorithms.● Establish early warning systems and predictive risk models by analyzing operationaland financial data.● Utilize and implement alternative data strategies to strengthen business rule enginesand credit underwriting.● Build and optimize AI-driven credit algorithms for better risk assessment anddecision-making.● Work with LLM, RAG, and other AI tools to develop, test, and deploy AI-poweredlending solutions.● Automate underwriting, collections, pricing, and operations using AI and machinelearning models. ● Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines and regulatory frameworks for lendingproducts. Qualifications and Skills● 1–3 years of experience in AI/ML, data science, risk management, or credit analyticswithin the NBFC or digital lending ecosystem.● Proven expertise in machine learning, predictive analytics, and financial modeling.● Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and proficiency with AI/ML frameworks(TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).● Experience with API integration and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).● Deep understanding of credit underwriting, credit policy drafting, and credit riskmanagement.● Analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.● Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation abilities.● Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meetdeadlines.
