Data Analyst

About The Role

The objective of the role is to ensure thatall incident data is accurate and up to dateall relevant HSE&C KPIs are reported accurately and on timeany trends or issues of note from the data are highlighted and country HSE&C managers are awareinformation is reported consistently and aligned with the internal busines reporting, information packs are clear, concise and standardinsight is made available to help the countries manage their risks and reduce incidentsProvide visible safety leadership in accordance with bp safety leadership principles, lifesaving rules andprocess safety fundamentals to model desired safety behaviours.

What You Will Deliver

Collect, organise and analyse health and safety data from various sources.

• Identify trends, patterns, and potential risks in the data and communicate findings to the HSE&C team.
• Develop and maintain databases to track and monitor health and safety performance metrics
• Support with recording relevant learning in shared learning systems, incorporate into local activities,
  

specifications/ practices/ procedures and raise high priority lessons

• Support performance management through implementation, measurement, and analysis of relevant
  

KPI’s to drive continuous improvement

• Prepare reports and presentations on health and safety data analysis for management and regulatory requirements.
  

Essential Requirements

What you would need :

Previous experience in data analysis, preferably in a health and safety or related fieldsExcellent communication and social skills, across all organization levels, with the strength to work flexiblyThe ability to simultaneously manage multiple activities with minimal supervision oThe ability to rapidly learn and assess business priorities, providing analysis & insight to accompany dataSelf-motivated, performance driven, Initiative to act and resolve unexpected problemsPlanning and coordination skills aligned with development of interpersonal skills across a variety of countries/ nationalitiesProactive and looking to improveWhen entrusted with confidential information, always handle it with utmost duty of care and tactProficient with the MS Office Suite and have excellent skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, PowerBI, Tableau & SQL

The role is based in Pune where there are no other HSE&C team members are basedYou will be part of the M&C Europe Central HSE&C teamYou will work closely with the HSE&C Managers in each M&C European country and the Central Team
