Role Description: We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee the end-to-end workflow of financial modelling projects and financial data processing projects. This role involves managing a team of analysts, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of financial models , and maintaining strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will possess deep financial modelling expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement. Roles & Responsibilities: Lead the financial modelling process from initial client request to final delivery, ensuring adherence to critical deadlines and service standards. Collaborate with clients to develop multiple asset class models in Excel using database add-ins such as Capital IQ, LSEG, Bloomberg, and FactSet. Supervise a team of analysts, conduct regular team meetings, and promote best practices and continuous improvement. Perform rigorous quality checks on financial models to ensure accuracy and compliance. Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment, encouraging creativity and calculated risk taking. Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing expert guidance and recommending tailored solutions. Identify and address root causes of service issues to enhance quality and productivity. Communicate project status updates regularly to senior management. Ensure all service level agreements (SLAs) are met and delivered as per client specifications. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, resolving client and project-related issues efficiently. Adapt to evolving process requirements and handle ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed Required Skillset: Minimum 10 years of experience in the financial services industry, with at least 5 years in team and workflow management. Proven experience in people and process management. Knowledge in using financial databases such as Bloomberg, FactSet, Capital IQ, and LSEG; financial modelling expertise is a strong advantage. Strong collaboration and prioritization skills to manage dynamic client requirements. Excellent organizational and leadership abilities to guide and motivate teams. In-depth understanding of management strategies and their practical application. Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills (both written and verbal). Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic VBA. Solid grasp of financial concepts and global financial markets. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver high-quality results within tight deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across various levels.
