About Modern Stage Events (MSE):


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Sales & Account Acquisition:

    Develop and execute a targeted sales strategy focused on acquiring new corporate clients for major events, conferences, incentives, and annual events.
  • Solution Selling:

    Successfully sell a comprehensive suite of event services, including advanced Audio-Visual (A/V) technology, stage design, lighting, production management, and technical support, with a focus on total solution value.
  • Lead Generation & Pipeline Management:

    Proactively identify, qualify, and manage a robust pipeline of corporate leads, primarily targeting Directors of Marketing, Head of Communications, and Procurement teams.
  • Proposal & Presentation Expertise:

    Craft highly professional, persuasive, and technically accurate proposals and pitch presentations that align MSE's capabilities with the corporate client's objectives and budget.
  • Client Relationship Management:

    Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers within target corporate organizations, positioning MSE as the preferred production partner.
  • Team Collaboration:

    Collaborate closely with the existing

    Corporate Event Sales Development

    team to convert qualified leads into closed business. Work with the operations and technical teams to ensure proposals are technically sound and cost-effective.
  • Market Analysis:

    Stay informed on corporate event trends, competitor pricing, and emerging event technologies (e.g., virtual/hybrid solutions) to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Forecasting & Reporting:

    Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and detailed performance reports to the senior management team.


What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive sales experience, with a minimum of 3 years specifically selling production services, technical A/V, staging, or high-value corporate event services.

  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding high annual sales targets (e.g., typically INR 3 Crore+ in yearly revenue).
  • Deep understanding of the corporate event lifecycle and the technical requirements for large-scale production.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills—must be comfortable presenting complex solutions to C-suite executives and procurement heads.
  • Experience utilizing a CRM system for pipeline management and reporting.
  • A strong professional network within the corporate event management or marketing departments in the relevant city/region is highly desirable.
  • Highly self-motivated, strategic thinker, and results-driven.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and events as required.
