The Team
A&M is looking for a highly organized and articulate content writer to lead the content strategy for the Global Capability Center (GCC). GCC is one of the fastest growing capability centers in India. With a rapidly expanding GCC, we have an increasing need for support in the Content Manager role we’re hiring for. This individual will lead GCC’s content strategy to drive thought Leadership for the firm, drive dedicated LinkedIn campaigns for the leadership team and support in video scripting for tools, clear communication for internal emailers and more. The individual is expected to operate on a high learning curve and ensure the content placements are in line with A&M’s tone of voice coupled with robust amplification plans to achieve measurable results. The candidate is expected to have a proven track record of developing and delivering strategic content themes and viewpoints across a range of sectors.

This role reports to the Director – Marketing of A&M India and GCC and will work closely with other counterparts of A&M (especially on the content side) to source ideas, content themes which are being worked upon in other geographies and see how they can be tapered to the GCC.As a Content Editor, you will ensure that key messages of A&M are reflected through stories that have maximum reach, and which support in increasing our communication impact through A&M’s owned channels.If you have expertise in content creating, drafting, editing, strong understanding of social media, SEO, and a love of data and storytelling, you are the person we’re looking for.
How You Will Contribute
- Content Strategy: Develop and implement the owned content strategy in line with business goals for different line of services of GCC
- Project Management: Develop and oversee content planning and messaging plans tied to key storytelling moments throughout the year
- Content Creation: Act as embedded reporter, working across the organization to uncover engaging, differentiated stories and bring them to life across channels and audiences
- Measurement & Evaluation: Set goals and develop/implement cohesive measurement to understand success. Make real-time adjustments based on results
- Experimenting & Scaling: Develop best practices and create toolkits to make our work more consistent and efficient
- Closely collaborating with different business units to develop and produce content materials from within the organization as well as providing direction to and managing external writers, video content contributors, and production partners
- Creating, writing, producing, commissioning, publishing and editing content across a range of mediums – long-form editorial, video and static, social media
- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure consistency in messaging and adherence to the A&M editorial guidelines across all content channels, as well as following our compliance guidelines to protect and maintain the A&M brand.
- Coming up with content ideas that are relevant for A&M India and interesting for external audiences
- Utilizing customer insight to inform strategies and be an expert on digital content and new content initiatives
Qualifications
- 5-8 years’ work experience developing content and overseeing editorial operations for major brands or in a media outlet. Will be preferrable to hire a current or ex business journalist.
- Implementing and evaluating content strategies with a focus on owned content platforms
- Excellent written and spoken English skills
- Experience in managing multiple stakeholder expectations and working in a highly intense environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing/ communications/ journalism or related field
- A proven track record of creating content with original ideas that offers something unique to readers
- Experience working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, demonstrating a genuine openness to feedback
- Highly analytical and structured with outstanding attention to detail
- Ability to exercise high judgment in narrow timeframes
- Experience driving a multi-channel editorial strategy, while working with cross-functional teams and managing external partners with a demonstrated knowledge of what works for a brand across owned channels
- Experience using customer data/insights to inform strategy and planning
- Experience in developing, managing, and analyzing content amplification strategies
- Highly organized - able to juggle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously while managing essential admin and reporting work
- Knowledge of SEO and the use of keyword research tools to help optimize content strategy
