Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Commis to join our team in the Hotels and Restaurants industry. The ideal candidate will have expertise in North Indian, South Indian, and Chinese cuisine.

Roles and Responsibility

  • Assist the Chef de Partie in planning and preparing menus for special events and functions.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Develop new recipes and menu ideas to enhance culinary offerings.
  • Conduct inventory management of food supplies and ingredients.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Commis in a professional kitchen environment.
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
