MovieMax is seeking an experienced and strategic Commercial Head to lead and strengthen the commercial function across its project portfolio. This senior leadership position requires a proven commercial mindset, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to translate commercial strategy into measurable financial and operational outcomes.

Civil Engineering graduate or equivalent.
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in commercial roles within construction, engineering, or real estate, including at least 5 years in a senior/commercial leadership role (leading teams and owning P&L).
- Mandatory certification: at least one professional certification in project/contract/procurement management such as PMP (Project Management Professional)..
- Strong proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting and commercial negotiation; advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems.
Preferred
- 15+ years of progressive experience with exposure to large project portfolios (typical capital portfolio > ₹100 Crore).
- Advanced ERP/finance certifications or specialized procurement training.
- Demonstrable track record of delivering measurable commercial outcomes (cost savings, margin improvement, procurement efficiencies).

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and own the commercial function for projects, converting strategy into executable commercial plans and governance frameworks.
- Manage end-to-end budgeting, cost monitoring, forecasting and profitability analysis. Measurable outcome: ensure project budgets are achieved within a variance of and improve commercial margins year-on-year.
- Own contracts & procurement: draft, review and negotiate contracts; implement procurement strategies and vendor selection processes to achieve target savings and service levels.
- Drive vendor & stakeholder management: establish SLAs, performance metrics and regular review cadences to ensure timely delivery and quality of service.
- P&L and financial accountability: be accountable for commercial outcomes of assigned projects/portfolio (including revenue, cost, and margin targets); provide monthly performance reporting and variance analysis to the leadership team.
- Team leadership and development: build, mentor and retain a high-performing commercial team; set clear objectives, KPIs and conduct performance reviews.
- Risk management & compliance: ensure contractual, regulatory and statutory compliance across all commercial activities and proactively mitigate commercial risks.
- Cross-functional collaboration: work closely with project delivery, legal, finance and operations to align commercial objectives with project execution and business goals.
- Continuous improvement: implement processes, tools and best practices (e.g., standard contract templates, commercial dashboards, ERP integrations) to increase efficiency and transparency.
